We Make Recovery Possible

Our goal is to ensure a smooth transition to our hospital. The admission department will collaborate with your current care facility to arrange for your transfer.

Let's get started

What you need to know

Everyone at RUSH Specialty Hospital — from the clinical liaisons, to the admission teams that help you get settled, to the interdisciplinary team providing care and treatment — is focused on providing you with an exceptional experience.

To begin treatment, we’ll share information and ask you to sign a few forms. Patients are encouraged to have a family member and/or legal guardian present to help expedite this process. Please be sure to bring copies of your insurance cards so we can confirm coverage and information. We also ask that you or your appointed designee provide copies of your Advance Directive (Living Will) and Power of Attorney (POA), if applicable.

Due to the significant risk posed by medical identity theft, we take precautions to safeguard personally identifying information. This includes requiring admissions staff to request photo identification upon arrival.

As a reminder, all patients should take steps to protect their insurance cards, Medicare and Social Security numbers during their stay.

Let Us Help

We will work closely with you, your family, your physician and/or the referring hospital to ensure a smooth transition to a RUSH Specialty Hospital.
